Southern Boy Co.™ was born in the middle of a storm.

In 2020, when the world hit pause, Kevin Head’s screen printing shop, 18 years strong, was forced to close its doors. He was expecting his first child, a son due to arrive that May. His team’s jobs were on the line. And like so many small business owners across the country, Kevin had a choice: give up, or build something new.

He chose to build.  

With the equipment he already had, a team that felt more like family, and a deep love for his Southern roots, Kevin launched an online apparel brand from scratch, designing and printing little boy shirts right there in South Georgia. The first orders started as a lifeline. Then something incredible happened: families connected with the designs, shared their stories, and kept coming back.

Southern Boy Co.™ was growing.

Soon after, Kevin asked his sister Kimberly to join the business, helping to build on that early success, connect with the community, and turn it into something lasting. Today, Southern Boy Co.™ is still proudly family-owned and operated, with a tight-knit crew of team members, many of whom stood by Kevin when everything was on the line. Every order we ship supports that team. Every shirt printed here in Brunswick, GA is a piece of that story.
